Hearing Aid Verification/Real-Ear Measures
Real-ear measures are a critical aspect of making sure patients have success with their hearing aids. It’s the gold standard used to determine whether or not a hearing aid user is receiving the precise level of amplification needed at every frequency. During the measurement, a thin probe microphone is inserted into the ear canal alongside the hearing aid. The audiologist receives readings and can adjust the sound levels to match target amplification levels based on the hearing aid user’s hearing loss across the speech frequencies.

Telehealth Care
If circumstances prevent you from making a visit to us in our office, no problem. We offer convenient telehealth care. Most appointments can be done via telehealth, with the exception of the in-person hearing evaluation. We do recommend that your initial hearing aid fitting is completed at our office, but if that’s not possible due to extreme circumstances, we will arrange a time to come to you.
